The electronic configuration of tin is [Kr]4d105s25p2. Written out in full, this is 1s22s22p63s23p63d104s24p64d105s25p2. It has two common / stable cations:

Sn2+ has electronic structure [Kr]4d105s2. Written out in full, this is 1s22s22p63s23p63d104s24p64d105s2.

Sn4+ has electronic structure [Kr]4d10. Written out in full, this is 1s22s22p63s23p63d104s24p64d10.

Representations are sometimes written showing the subshells in order of increasing energy, such as [Kr]5s24d105p2, but placing them in order of increasing shells - and within that, subshells - is the standard representation method.
