Because it acts as a proton donor and it's the conjugate acid of BL base NH3

NH3 + HCl --> NH4Cl
And

Were both the answers Methylprpanal and butanal?

Because Ketones and Aldehydes are seperate funtional groups, and Butanal and Butanone would be a positional isomer, not a structural isomer

I got butanal and butanone for the functional group isomers and butanal and 2-methylpropanal for the chain isomers
