In comparison, which one is harder in your opinion chem or physics? And why?
I want to do engineering in uni but I didn't pick physics and don't plan on picking up 4u maths. I plan on doing a bridging course in physics (if it's required). Can I survive without 4u maths and hsc physics in uni?
Edit: for biomed eng + another eng course since its a dual degree, sorry for being unclear earlier :|

had a talk with 3rd year unsw engo students, they said physics is used in most engo fields and chem is used in hardly any.

3U and no Physics would be alright.

In terms of UNSW:

Are you planning to do Electrical or Computer Engineering? That's the only time when HSC Physics would be useful. Otherwise only preliminary Physics and MX2 would be required for most other types of Engineering. You would be better off investing time in bridging MX2 in my opinion than Physics.

hsc physics harder than hsc chemistry (reverse for prelim I reckon)
that is why chemistry has more content, because physics requires more understanding, which is fine if you enjoy the module, but not if you don't like motors and generators etc.

HSC physics isn't that much relevant to engineering, but math is. If you're doing at least 3U math then you should be fine. Idk about chem
