Lucky for u I've been recently studying transnational firms in China, but, what the hell does your question mean? Assess the impact of the firm? Impact on what?

i just did china for my case study.....but u need to specify the question more.....what are we meant to examine the corporations in terms of?? do we look at the impact it has on employment? or sustainable devlopment? ..umm...dat quest is realli broad....

oh mate, talk about the car industry
like either general motors or a euro brand like VW or audi

you can then talk about china's increase in cars etc

Ok, got the marking criteria:

demonstartes a clear uderstanding of the rold of TNC's by making a judgment as to the impact of one firm on chosen nation.

provides detailed and appropriate information about the TNCs operations of the firm both winthin the chosne nation and its trading parnters.

The teacher said to look at things like:
- why the TNC went there
- have they improved quality of life, or just used/abused?
- have they increased trade? employment?
- have they led to further tech. transfer into the nation?
- have the polluted, etc?
- make a judgemetn about them
