i don't know about the HSC texts, but in prelim we studied a movie called 'hibiscus town", it was about the cultural revolution. i had nfi idea what it was talking about because i have basically zilch knowledge of the revolution, thanks to the shitty taiwanese junior high history textbook. so i didn't do as well in the yearly test
