Choice of topic (1 Viewer)

for an essay i am going to write i need to choose the history of a topic of my choice this can range form anything like the roman army to the vietnam war to the history of computers etc. etc. so as you can imagine im an a bit spoilt for choice. i was just wondering if there are any particular subjects you would recomend that have lots of primary sources but nothing to do with the Nazis or Stalin. thanx
