choosing ACCG subjects (1 Viewer)

i have the option of doing ACCG100 or ACCG105. i would be also doing ACCG101. i am looking to get some insight into what would be bad and good things if i choose either one.

btw; i am doing BApp Fin/BCom- Accg

Do ACCG100, you can't do ACCG101 without 100.

I have the option of doing 105 or 100 and 101. What would be the advantage of doing both 100 and 101?

but you can do ACCG101 if i do 105.

anyway, 105 can only be done in 2nd semester, same with 101. so i guess i have to do 100 in the first semester before it.

Ah yes sorry, well check your 2nd and 3rd year units cos some of them require ACCG101 rather than ACCG105.

if i was you i would choose 105... since 100 and 101 are both harder than 105

im not sure what advantage you would have by choosing both 100 and 101, other than a broader knowledge of accounting... or maybe you might need both for some kind of accreditation..

but anyways 105 is easier.. and it gives u an extra elective...

Having trouble finding it in the undergraduate book...but I haven't looked seriously yet, too many things going on...

my course is supposed to have code bus006 but it doesnt seem 2 exist in any other sections.....maybe im just reading it wrong

Yes....Why give yourself more pain then u have to by choosing 100 AND 101, when you only need 105.

do it at least 2 days before your enrolment though, just to be sure.

the degree outline says that i can do either 100 or 105. if anything, 105 would give me more flexibilty if i want to possibly transfer [to acst].

i have so far thought that 100 and 101 are complementary subjects, is this the case?

u should do accg100 since thats offered in first semester

you cant do accg105 and accg101 at the same time, you need to have completed 105 or 100 before you can do 101

soo unless you want to do 105 in 2nd sem and 101 the following year, i suggest you take up 100.

oh ok. i didnt realise that 101 had pre-requesites of 100 or 105.

i will be doing 100 in first semester in that case and 101 in my second.

Okay, most 200 level ACCG units require either ACCG101 or ACCG105. In essence, ACCG101 is an extension of ACCG100, so if you intend to do ACCG101, you are recommended to do ACCG100.

Also, people tend to say that ACCG105 is much easier than ACCG100.
