our school does things way differently, i dont know of anyone that has had to do subjects due to "in line", they change the timeline every year so like most (ie. 99% of people) get their subject choice, thats what the principal said, that 99% of people get their subject choices

At my school Eng Ext 2 is not timetabled. They slot it in during study periods and lunchtime etc...to my knowledge, you don't really need classes for it.

Yeah, same with EE2 at my school too.
Maths ext and english ext 1 run on the same line, but half each. MX2 runs completely on that line because noone does 4u maths and 3u english.

They've structured the lines so that the majority of people are happy.

At my school, MX2 runs with MX1 because all but one of the MX2 students are accelerants and did MX1 last year. EE1 runs along a study period, so when I dropped EE1 I got 5 extra study periods per cycle :p

i also found out 2day that if anyone does MX2 and EE1 they will change the timetable, so thats a good thing. But my teacher said that the classes are either morning or arvo classes

Wow, everyone did MX1 as an accelerant? We can't do subjects as an accelerant!
Yea, initially there were around 9 of us who completed 2U and MX1 last year. 2 opted against MX2, while one non-accelerant (who is incidentally FinalFantasy on BoS) joined the group. Nevertheless, we still only get 2 MX2 periods per week (I'm guessing coz of BOS rules) and the remainder are essentially study periods.

A lot of people are opting for Mathematics Extension 2 this year. It is very poplular at my school. Unfortunately for some, they can only get in by teacher's recommendation, otherwise they have to prove themselves in the yearly test. At least the Mathematics staff are not as harsh as the English staff. I think less than 10 people are opting for English Extension 2. History Extension on the other hand, is quite a popular option for those who take Modern History, Ancient History or both. My year 12 HSC courses are:
English
Mathematics
Mathematics Extension 1
Mathematics Extension 2
Chemistry
Physics
Biology

Good luck with that Trebla. 6 units of Science and 4 units of Maths is going to be an absolute killer. You're determined right?

We havent even been told of our subject selection night.
