Well depends on the place you're working at I guess. You guys working at the mail centres won't find it as boring because you have more stuff to do and get to play with the big machines! The hub people just sort white mail from coloured mail =\.

my general rule at work (granted not at a mail centre) is i don't go back until they call me back.

I have no idea what they get you to do at mail centers but my friend told me it is still a boring job. But given that I get to work late at night I really dont mind.

Are there any decent night jobs around?

It's courtesy (or generally you're friends so you want to help out your friend) to the people you are working with to come back on time so you help them out with some of the customers or so they can then go for their break. (I realised other people have jobs where they don't have to do this)
