I'd have to agree with MinAi and say that it's main use would be in engineering.

Chasing angles around and proving cyclic quads etc can't be too useful outside of pure maths! LOL, didn't think of the remaining Ptolemaians....

In physics in investigation Circular Motion
WE CAME UP WITH LINEAR VELOCITY = ANGULAR VELOCITY X RADIUS

By using the formula s=r(thetaRAD) which was proved using circle geometry.
