hi everyone
just wondering what you're all doing in 4u at the moment. My class just spent a whole term doing complex numbers and now we're onto conics. We're a week behind schedule but my teacher doesn't care and lets us out of class 30min early.
so...how much have you all done?

Conics. Are we far behind?
Depends on what other topics you have done, most schools should be finishing the second topic around now.

I think we should be doing conics next, so if this is your third topic then you should be ahead

Ive done complex and curve sketching last term, and we are doing conics now, almost finished the ellipse part, then we will be moving onto the hyperbola section. Um i think we are also going to do polynomials, and finish that by week 7, then we will revise and have 4 topics done and revised ready for the half yearlies.

Conics now. We did random 2U and 3U stuff to get that out of the way first, I think our teacher figures that stuff is easier to remember than the 4 unit stuff so we do that closer to when we need it.

Yeah we've done complex numbers, graph sketching and about halfway through conics.

I go to a relatively small school, so there's only one other guy in my ext2 class and so we only do ext2 as an extra lesson one afternoon per week; and are given a big chunk of homework to do for the next lesson. I find this hard sometimes, cos i leave all the hwk to sunday night :p

Is anyone else in this situation and how do they find it?
