Hey guys, :)

I just got the letter today from BoS and it's offering recheck of the papers provided that you pay money (of course).

Im considering doing this, but wat if say for Maths, my exam mark was 91.. and when they rechecked it was originally 85 .. wil they change it to 85?

Well, I would think they would have to.
But you got 94, that's pretty awesome. Why do you need a recheck, or why do you think there needs to be one?

lol im just wondering if i could scab some more marks coz I think I will fall short of the cutoff for course I want to do (needs 95). But hopefully they accept my EAS application, if so recheck wont really matter.

If you get lower on a recheck that's your new mark. It's a risk.

Wow - I didn't know that. Seems kind of odd. But who would complain about that?

Do it if you have the money to spare, though from what I've heard not many people's marks change.

are you being serious? i've always thought that you'll get the lower mark (or whatever mark comes up after the check), hence making it very risky.

If your mark was found to be lower than the one that was originally given, they do not amend the mark. It's only when the acutal mark was found to be higher that they change your HSC mark-and possibly, but not necessarily, UAI.
