When you joined Arc this year, you should have gotten signed up to Org(y)Sync.
This is the system that they will use to manage memberships of clubs this year. That means (for most clubs and societies), to formally 'join' in the eyes of Arc, you are supposed to join the society's group on OrgSync.
It will be used to monitor/audit the number of members in the club and hence funding. So make sure you do this if you haven't already! Not sure how exactly it will be used in future events, but they may check to see if you are a member of the club and arc using that system if you want to get the arc discounts, etc.
Signing into events may also change this year, moving to an electronic system as opposed to the good old scribble-on-clipboard system.
