I've just downloaded a file off BT and when I run it, I see visuals but don't get sound. Windows Media Player says it's searching for codec but of course, the lousy thing can't find it.
I have DivX.
Is there anyway to find out what codec I need or can you suggest any I should get?

Hmm well I installed FFDshow but still no good. On the other hand I got VLC player and it runs on that so problem half solved.

Get the K-Lite Codec pack (Full) from free-codecs.org (dw, it's clean). If that fails you, I'm stumped, although I suppose you could use the bundled sw gSpot to figure out what codec it needs.

Yeap, use G-Spot to find out what you're missing, you can get it here.
