Hey guys, so I'm completely clueless to how this works :/

There are 9 compulsory core courses laid out for the course, but each major from Com and Eco have their own compulsory core courses.

For my first semester courses which I'm selecting now, do I select 4 from the 9 choices, or could I pick from the compulsory core courses of the majors?

Or, do I not worry about majors at all for the first semester?

I suggest you pick ACCT1501, ECON1101, MGMT1001 and ECON1203. Replace ECON1203 with MATH1151 if your planning on doing an Actuarial major. :)

If you're doing a finance major, pick FINS1613 first semester as it counts as a flexible core course and is a prerequisite for FINS2624 which is a prerequisite for pretty much every other finance subject. You can do core courses whenever if you don't need them as prereqs for your own major. I did ACCT1511 in my 3rd year.
