What are the 2 core units? Are they from your specialisation? I know the four social science foundation units are compulsory. But can you take compulsory units out of order and do electives instead, in the case of rotating units?

- Social Research Methods
Spring
- Criminal Law
- Law Foundation

Would that be appropriate and allowable? There are too many units I want to do!!!

I understand that its all confusing for you and really its not very well explained.
You need to follow the social science/laws plan at:

You need to send off an email to Sharyn Mcgee who is the course coordiantor for social science to double check whether the info for yer 2 is correct- ie. research methods or Epistemological unit as it doesn't match the social science sequence.
However, below is more of my understanding of the social science outline.

Most importantly you need to decide on your major now... because you will start completing units fom your major in year one unlike arts students.
Your plan for this year will comprise of the following units:

So you know what law units you are doing so thats not the problem. Its your social science units.
Over the first 3 years of your degree you will need to complete 16 units in total. 4 core units and 12 units that complete your major

REMEMBER TO KEEP IN MIND PREREQUISITES WHEN CHOOSING SUBJECTS FROM THE UNIT POOL. aLSO SINCE YOU ARE DOING LAW YOU DONT HAVE ANY ELECTIVES. sUBJECTS THAT YOU DO HAVE TO COME FROM YOUR MAJOR AND YOU CANT DO MORE SUBJECTS THAN WHATS REQUIRED.
