can someone give me the lowdown on advanced science. essentially i want to combine radiography + languages (german & italian). the only way i can do this at the moment is a double degree in arts and adv. science. in the science degrees, do you have the option to specialise ie through elective, so that i could finish the course and have the qualifications of a radiographer, or do i have to do a specific radiography course (not that UNSW has one)
any info on these science courses would be helpful
also would you recommend it for me, science is not my strongest but i'm not bad. i only do biology and im in the 90s and third overall in my selective school (so far). my maths is also pretty good

It's best if you send them an email or give them a call to see if the science degree programs gives you professional recognition. After doing some google searches, I am under the impression that it doesn't (at unsw), only unis around Sydney that popped up were Usyd and Newcastle.

Science and Arts courses are usually quite flexible as they are the traditional 'liberal arts' degrees.. but a radiography course would probably be more vocational and specialised. So it might contain some parts you would like and other parts which you hate.

Have you considered medicine or anything else? It might be good if you talk to ppl at the universities, fiends, parents, aunts, uncles etc... I am studying commerce(actuarial science) + sience(maths) at the moment, but I think I would be more interested in electrical engineering/computer science now :S.
