There are snakes at Richmond. But don't worry about snakes during the winter. Because they are cold blooded, they sleep althrough winter (i wish i could do that). Just worry when the temps are hot, like during the middle of summer. If you see a snake, don't more quickly, just stand still and let it slither out of your way :)

Just SEEING a snake would be enough for me, let alone actually coming close to one. And don't get me starting about spiders. The sight of ANY spider would put me to tears.

Snakes are cool. Spiders are not! I remember there have been a few lecturers when cockroaches have run through the room, most of the class screamed, got up out of their seats and ran outside, faster than you could say cockroach. Everyone includes GUYS as well!!!

klh - don't blame me if you get biten by a snake then :D

Funky_a, i due to unforeseen circumstances with uws admin am enrolled at kingswood for 1 unit becasue the corresponding unit at parramatta was full, even though it was a muck up in admin, they would not budge. i sometimes have to go to werrington becasue the library has more business books which i can use (only library that does, parra and k'wood dont have them) so yeah...

haha, its alright, i used to be scared to step on them coz i ddint want to hurt them but now...meh.
so farm girl into bush girl...just joking with you Cape lol..you are more brave then i am tryingto get a snake. im shakin gmy head as i type.

bug spray: did u use the right one, fly spray does nothing, cockroach spray paralyses them until the stuff kicks in about 5-10 mins unless you buy the quick kill spray.

Lets get this straight. I'm not a farm girl and never will be a farm girl :p Although, living on a farm would be cool. Thats kinda contradicting :p

I was being an idiot the day i was trying to catch a snake - spent too much time in the car, lack of oxygen got to me, i think.

Don't use bug spray, catch the cockroach in a jar or a dustpan or something then release it. I through them off my balcony. Actually, i refuse to catch them, I scream, cry and run and get in bed, and make someone else take it outside :p

ok....
youll want to kill one when you see this big nasty thing on the wall looking at you, and you think to yourself "what are you looking at? thats it! im gonna use my thong on you!-SPLAT" or when they fly at you and you have to duck to avoid them...
my friend has an ingenious idea, use a vacuum to suck the cockraoch and then throwit out outside, no mess, no fuss.

Nope. I'd run out of my room and sleep in the lounge room if I have to. lol.

Vaccum cleaner, that would work, except our vaccum cleaner is noisey, not to mention that its downstairs. By the time I find it, the cockroach would have run away! hehe
