yeah...u can do a double major in either one of your degrees if you're doing comm/arts....but only one major for the other degree

No.
Strictly, the way the degree is structured, you can only double major in Commerce, and not the Arts component

exerpt from the Faculty website:
"students choose either a single major and a minor, or a double major from the Commerce and Economics disciplinary streams, and then a major from the streams offered by the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences"

im a com/arts student rite now

truth is

u can double major

1 major in arts


but
ur arts major cannot be a eco/com related major e.g. international business

as for languages
it has different levels
beginners, intermediate, professionally etc...

professional is about the literary skill of a high school student in whatever language ur doing

u wont be perhaps able to read that country's say equivalent of shakespeare with ease, but u should be able to live and survive wifout a problem , write and read wifout much of a problem and wif a bit of practice and perhaps further professional tutoring, can work in professional fields.
