Hey all, i'm thinking about studying commerce at usyd/unsw next year and was wondering, would i struggle if i havnt done business/eco at school and if i did general maths, would i not be able to cope with the maths levels required? Thanks

You'll be fine with most majors except maybe finance.

finance at usyd is extremely mathematical/ quantitative (at least for finc 1). Without business studies/eco it will be harder, however, will just require more work, and might take you longer to understand concepts.

Agree with the comments about you'll be fine/except for finance.

I didn't do econ, business studies and I did general maths. Haven't had too much trouble getting the concepts for everything. I've found my finance subjects I have to do, to be challenging, but there are plenty of ways to improve and plenty of places to get help if you need it!
