What would you think is the most interesting or most useful commerce major?

And as an aside question, how many majors can you do in a Commerce (liberal studies) degree?

Depends on the university

I'm dropping commerce but my favourite intendend majors were:

Quantitative Economics
Quantitative Finance
Investment Finance
Economics
Money & Banking

UWA is pretty odd though, I would have done 7 majors in my 4.5 year combined course.

Wow, so you're both dropping Commerce? So do you think its a worthwhile course, are are you dropping because you have found something you're more interested in?

It's a useful course.
I'm doing B Law/B Commerce at the moment, but I really have no use for/interest in the commerce side. I want to be a lawyer.
SO I am transferring to a B Law/B Arts (Politics) as I have a lot of interest in that (and so, hopefully, I will study more lol).

I am dropping commerce because maths is more appropriate for the kind of career path i'd like to follow.

I'm doing HR & IR as my business major and I gotta say it's pretty interesting and very arts-like. There is no maths at all and it's all essays which I love. I chose business to combine with law because I thought it would be more useful than arts, but the HR major is practically like an arts major anyway. Unlike accounting, finance, etc which seems a lot harder from my experience with first year cores.

If you like numbers you can go for accounting, finance, etc.

If you hate numbers and prefer essays/reports you can go for marketing (has stats though), HR, management, etc. But a management major is pretty useless imo, whereas HR is more specialised.
