I am currently in Comm law at unsw but i hate law!! i want to move to usyd to do comm/sci as at unsw you can only do 1 major for each under a dual degree, but usyd with the extra year i could do 3 majors (maybe 4?) I want to do postgrad medicine. Is this a good program? If yoyo do it it tell me about it, like the hours, your majors. Pros and cons of USYD etc. Thanks everyone :)

Postgraduate medicine after a dual degree - nice! Yes, it is a good program. I cannot answer for commerce but direct any Qs on the med faculty to me and I will try to answer them. There are specific majors you may want to consider for medicine. :) All the best!

Amleops can best answer Qs to do with Comm/Sci.

Add On: Plus USyd finally brought in the MD.

I hear medicine is a good degree if you want to practise a doctor.

Why though do you want to keep the commerce degree if its not helpful? What would you major in on science.
And yes you could potentially double major in each degree depending on what majors you want.

Commerce/Science at USYD is very good, I would highly recommend it. Yeah you can fit in 4 majors, I was intending to do that, was probably going to major in Finance, Mathematics/Statistics and something else.

Hours really depends on what units you take. More commerce subjects in a semester would generally mean lower contact hours, while more science subjects would mean higher contact hours. If you do about half-half which I'd recommend, you should have contact hours somewhere in the high teens.
