Hi I'm just wondering if you alternate between each degree each semester or if you finish say commerce first then do science also I'm wondering if any Uni students can advise me whether have class back to back is wise say a lecture at 12pm-2pm then a tut or another lecture from say 2pm-3pm

You usually alternate between both and finish off the core courses of both degrees in first year

E.g.
semester 1:
12 uoc of science units (usually 2 courses)
12 uoc of commerceunits (usually 2 courses)

semester 2:
12 uoc of science units (usually 2 courses)
12 uoc of commerce units (usually 2 courses)

For semester 1 I've enrolled in the 3 Commerce Cores and Psych1A (cos I'm planning on majoring in Psychology)

So, what sort of courses would I be doing in semester 2? I'm not sure about the Science core courses :S cos when I looked at the handbook I just went straight to areas of specialisation - Psych and yeah :/

give yourself a break between classes.

Personally i prefer a 2 hour break between classes. It gives you time to take some notes, catch up on last minute work, or prepare yourself for your next class.

Or you can bludge or socialise with friends. =]
