Who here ever had a C64?
What games did u have and how did the machine work?
I had about 10 games or something and I could only get a few of them to work, but this was when I was like 6 and I didnt really know how to use the machine only how to play some of the games.

I've still got mine (not set up at the moment though). I had quite a few games, but not all work anymore. Hot wheels was probably my favourite game.
I love the sound it makes when it loads a program. It sounds like it's eating the disk.

We had one here from when I was I guess around 5 for a few years onward (Or maybe younger, it was here before I started primary school for sure). There were boxes full of games with it and it was great.

The instructions for loading a game were written out on a notepad next to the computer, and until I was actually old enough to start to *understand* how it all worked loading a game was a fairly-time consuming process which consisted of following the instructions step by step (knowing the process, rather than its workings).

Among my favourite games were The Last Ninja (1 and 2), International Karate, Barbarian, Law of The West, Impossible Mission, Bombuzal, Batman and oh fuck, the list goes on forever. Probably my all time best gaming memories, nostalgia++
