Hey,

I'm trying to figure out exactly what this dot point wants...

"Assess the impact that knowledge of the relationship between noise and hearing loss has had on our society and the environment."

Does it mean how excessive noise can cause hearing loss, or just stuff about if you have hearing loss you can't hear stuff, and explaining that?

Hmm...

Damn dot points

Fiona :D

Ah never mind... It's not a syllabus point, it's a syllabus "outcome", number H4 to be precise... Still don't get it though...

You have to look at the impact of this increase in understanding. Some of the points I thought of is
1. wearing ear muffs in factory worker who are continous exposed to sound
2. better noise control in industrial sites by the EPA (environmental protection agency)
3.

With the increasing understanding of the relationship between hearing loss and loud noises, we are more careful in reducing the exposure to loud sounds and strict control on the emission of sounds. this has decreased the number of cases of blindloss cause by lound noises.
you get the point
