COMP1091 has weird course material. There seems to be so much UNIX stuff and so little real programming skills and styles being covered.
Well, my views may be incorrect since I'm not doing this course.

all 3 assignments are pretty much programming..
they teach unix stuff first week to get ppl started, then it's mostly C followed by a bit of scripts and other things like vector vs raster images, sorting you know the usual

yeah i know. sum1 got 97 ~___~..yet i was still ranked 14 out of 149 with a DN. wtf? comp is stingy with the HDs compared to maths.
