ig it would depend if you consider complex as needing to have a non-zero real and imaginary part, but they gave im(b) = 0 so that definition doesn't work here anyway

this is a dumb definition btw. but ive seen some places refer to "complex" as that especially in high school, even though every real number is a complex number since
