Would the creative arts/computer science double degree be good If I wanted to work in the multimedia industry?

you could save the hassle, and do B of computer science, and specialise in multimedia and game development

oh no - not maths

Get over it, the maths needed for comp sci is NOTHING like what you have done at school. If you work hard, and don't have the fear of maths that most comp sci people seem to have, you will be fine

Ye tru, the only pure maths subject is math121. Some may say stat131 is also maths but hardly, you can learn that stuff quickly + its all reading and writing. Im not sure if there is math in the programming subjects though.

yeah, the only math you need in comp science is math121, im not a math person myself, but math121 is entirely based on logic. all you really have to do is solve a couple of truth tables, memorise a couple of rules and stuff, it aint that difficult really.

I'm thinking of doing the ICT degree majoring in software engineering and picking multimedia electives. Plus the ICT one has the work experience.

I don't really have any interest in the engineering courses. I gotta do a course i'll be happy with.

Comp Sci does need heaps of maths if you intend to do security or more advanced stuff.

WTF are you thinking about?
IF you want to go into the more advance/theoretical stuff. But really that is true for any science type area. So I still wouldn't worry about the maths unless you actually want to understand how matrices are used to transform images and what not.
