hi i was just wondering who would recommend doing engineering at UTS

at the moment im trying to decide whether UTS or UNSW is better

the courses that im looking at are
-software engineering
-computer engineering

You need to know that doing engineering in UTS would also require you to do the Diploma in Engineering Practice, which is 2 lots of 22 weeks work experience. It is very valuable, as nowadays, graduating with a degree is not enough, so this work experience really helps you to get a job, or even a graduate program.
