What is diffusion, osmosis, mitosis and mutation?

Diffusion- spreading of particles through random motion from regions of high concentration to regions of low concentration.

Osmosis- is the movement of water across a partially permeable membrane from an area of high water potential to an area of low water potential.

Mitosis- process by which a eukaryotic cell separates the chromosomes in its cell nucleus into two identical sets in two nuclei.

Mutation- changes in the DNA sequence of a cell's genome.
