Probably not 4u question but I do 4u and the other girl in my classs couldn't get it so hopefully one of you will be able to =P
A cylinder is inscribed in a right circlular cone. Find when the total surface area of the cylinder is a maximum.
The answer's " h/r = cot -2" and I'm assuming that the cot is of the steepness of the cone. I'm kinda halfway there but can't work it down to one variable =[
