i was wondering if any one has any information regarding two questions:

a) account for the defeat of japan in 1945 despite its dominant strategic position in 1942

b) evaluate the view that the aims of the allied powers were achived successfully in the occupation of japan in the period up to 1951

have to do a 1000 word essays for both of them
