let's say that i fail the school assessments for general maths:mad1: (not by much) but my ranks on the other hand are something like 15/41 for maths, how much would this have an impact on my hsc(aiming for 65:bomb: ) and considering that i am in top 10 in my other subjects but maths in dragging me down and the fact that i can get something like 70 in my hsc for maths(i just havnt tried hard enough in my assessments) and in the 80s for other subjects. would that mean that my uai is something like 55(coz of me failing the school assessments for maths) even though i get average marks between 70s-80s for hsc? ???

No one really fails the HSC! A uai of 30 or more is a pass. Regarding your marks...if you work hard for the hsc and have done well in your trials you shouldn't have much to worry about.

Use SAM -put in your marks and see what it gives you.
