The 2006 exam was pretty easy so I can see why she got 100 for it. When was the last time someone got full marks for Extension 2? Stephanie also got 100 for Extension 1 with 3rd in the state. Also, it was pretty weird that no one got 100 for 2 unit Mathematics in 2006, the highest was 99....seems like 2 unit was hard this year...thank god I did 4 unit....lol

Yeah i know (lolz) nah i'm really happy with what i got-but i guess everyone once they get to a stage they want to get just that much more. I mean the uai isn't everything-there are guys on bos who probably didn't get 99.95 but are still brilliant at what they do. it would have been nice to get the hundred tho, cos that's whta my school predicted.

3unitz steph didn't get full marks for 3 unit- the person who topped did though-all the other guys who got 100(Yip got 100 as well) didn't get full marks but prolly 83/84 then 82/84 etc. As for my modern history-yeah a few regrets-but i'm still happy with my mark. UAI means nothing now anyway-got uni coming up.
Affinity man, u've helped so many guys out on bos-i might be having some q for u later when i start either actuarial or combined med science at usyd.

thanx slidey but medsci at usyd offers research options greater than any other uni and money is a factor but medsci would just allow me to contribute that much more-i've been interested in neuroscience for a while but didn't know any unis provided much research opportunities cept sydney uni-actuarial interests me from the maths side-hence the totally different choices

Gosh darnit, back @ Ruse again. Congratz to them both (Terry & Steph), looking forward to NMSS in January with them.
OH YEAH! A NeMeSiS person and obviously a tutor. Have a wonderful, wonderful time. I did two years there myself and had such a ball. Pity I lost touch with pretty much everyone who went BUT I did get a better HSC mark (in Maths) than the fellow that represented Oz at the International Maths Olympiad :p muahahahahaha

Is Terry Gagan still lecturing Number Theory? He was awesome! And all those traditions, do they continue? Westpac Maths relay, alphabetical double-barrelled letters with new meanings and so on.

NeMeSiS. Oh I wish I were going again!

thanx pLuvia-Nah I did get the co-op first time but actuarial is boring sometimes whereas medicine isn't so yeah-i dunno i think med might suit me as much as actuarial-congrats to u as well on ur result although i thought you had the talent and potential to achieve higher, i guess once we make it to the course then we are successful and uai is irrelevant once in uni-oh well i think i'm going off topic i'll stop here. CONGRATZ TO STEPH WANG

Ah I see. I was hoping for a 97.xx but oh well, made it into my course :) My internal ranks and assessments brought my external marks down hence a lower UAI but still high
