MAn how hard its fitzy with conics... its givin me the chronics i cant do half the questions:S:S

patel is easy compared to it.. personally i like the arnold/arnold coz its examples cover the questions that are often asked

yeah, well once u lear the concepts, its good for conics if u practice past papers....anway, for fitzpatrick and arnold solutions c drbuhanans website.

The Conics section in Fitz is (perhaps) the hardest available from the "popular" Ext2 textbooks. In the HSC (besides Q7,8) they'll guide you through the Conics question. :)

yeah, probably, but fitzpatrick also has crap thats not in da syllabus such as hyperbolas with the centre no in the origin etc..but anyway, "hardness" in conics comes due to the overwhelming algebra that is required.

Yep, it's just lines and lines of workin' and it's very discouragin' when you take a glance at the solution. (Although occasionally there are few solutions which are elegant and take but a few lines.) :)

Published solutions to what?
The Fitzpatrick doesn't have solutions to most of its Conics questions. Lucky him. :)
