im having some troubles understanding how a few related materials actually relate to consumerism. :(
if someone could plz explain how the macca's"things that make you go Mmmm" advertisemnt relates to consumerism?and in wat ways it does?

im not sure if im correct but i'll give it a shot answering this question.
First of all u will need to know wat ur topic area "consumerism" is about.
Well according to Daniel Felice who has helpfully donated his/her summary to boredofstudies consumerism is the over consumption of material good, urged by advertising, which leads people to believe their lives are defined by what they own.

so, i guess with that definition in ur head it may give u a start on how it can be linked

In the ad, you can see that everyone in it is smiling and the whole commercial is also bright and colourful...this suggests that to be happy you just need some maccas =)
also the tune is catchy and it will therefore stick in the viewer's mind...

i think it means that the product that they are selling tasts great, by using the letters mmmmm. as well as saying that the M on macdonalds stands for great tast as well.
so in order to have something that tasts wonderfull then maccers is the place to go.

that what i think anyways.
