For part (a) would the contraposition go along the lines of "If m and n are odd, then either mn and (m+n) are odd"

Contrapositive: If m or n are odd, then mn or m + n is odd

Note that 'or' refers to the union of two conditions. So 'm or n are odd' could mean m is odd, n is odd or both m and n are odd.
