further, jasc's animation shop does it too.

also, if you're making swf's in flash,
then you'll be able to export them as animated gif's



saw this over at SWiSH's board, requires swish+animation shop though.

Converting SWF to GIF !!!

What do you need :

Swish & Jasc Annimation Shop

How to do :

1 : import your SWF file in Swish by using the import button in Swish.

2 : export your SWF to AVI from within Swish.

3 : open Jasc Animation Shop
import your AVI in animation shop

4: in Animation Shop, save as .GIF

DONE !

ah man... yeah i've got jacs animation thingy, but that can only convert to .avi... then gotta import it to something else... aaArgh man.. theres gotta b a more simple way...

.gif files work in powerpoint right?

What can i say... there will be a program out there that converts swf to gif... just try them out... thats what i do whenever i need something like that...

I guess you're talking about animated gifs and not taking frames out of the swf to make stills. The resultant file will be massive, why do you want to do it?

coz for my ipt major we have to make animations for an electronic book... but the thing is, it has to be in powerpoint!

and powerpoint doesnt support swf files so everythings gotta be gif for it to work

im stuffed coz i dont know what i am gonna do.. those programs to convert it dont work man.. they r all demos and crap
