Everytime I try to reply to a thread, I need to log in. Why? I dont think the cookies are working properly

i used to have the same problem... when i got alerts about people posting (in my inbox), i'd click on the link and i'd have that problem of having to sign in all the time. now i always sign in through the website, not through my email pop-up thingy. so maybe that's what's happening??? *shrugs*
