the only thing i can make are scrambled eggs which i eat with bread.

i was bored so wanted to get a cooking thread started. planning on learning to cook after hsc.

whats the best way to start? simple baking or strat to the good stuff like smoked salmon with special sauce or whatever and perfecting your technique?

how can you never have learnt to cook before. You just do it. Cooking would have to be the hobby with the most instruction books ie recipe books! i can't believe you have come all this way through life without cooking.

Don't cook fiddly stuff if your only starting. Cook what you want to cook. Learn to do particular dished well and learn to cook basic things that you can live off!

i prefer more practical and better tasting REAL food
pasta!

well cook pasta. tomato (fresh or sun dried), basil (or pesto), garlic and oil and thats a bloody good pasta dish!

boil water -- > put pasta in ---> when boil drained pasta
and recook .. add sum pasta sauce..!!~ or make one with tomatoes or sum vegies.
urm sumfing like that!

juz developed your own method.!! start simple pasta then try using different things and mixing it together..dun make too much or it mite taste unusual

hmm...cooking is fun and yummy!. I luv making cakes using cake powder form coles and telling my bf that i made it from scratch....gee guys are sure retarded
