in high school there was a HUGE emphasis on being 'cool'; wearing cool clothes, being seen with cool people, doing cool things, all that
is there the same emphasis in uni, and if so, what constitutes cool?

from what i can gather, noone gives a shit what you do, you do your thing, they do theirs and you all go on your merry way not caring what others think of you

Uni is different to some high schools where smarter people get bagged out....in uni knowing your work is good!

That depends on the groups of people...everyone has the little circle of friends.

I wish Australia had Fraternities like America. Also, in American movies, it seems like just about every student lives on campus.
