Hi :)
I'm working on an HSC Advanced English assignment which involves making a 'visual representation' of the issues in a text. The text I'm using is an article in Time magazine. I wanted to do a collage using pictures found on the Internet and pictures and text from the article (as in literally cut section out of the text for newsprint effect). But I'm not sure if any of these would create copyright problems. I'm most worried about the bits from the actual article. The Internet pictures are generally simple everyday items or common symbolic images, I'm not trying to borrow from high art or anything, but I'm still not sure if it's allowed. Any thoughts?

**Update** Internet pictures in a collage are fine for this task, but the question about the article still stands.

You might also want to check if your school or assignment has a referencing policy if so, just reference where you found the pictures from because this might also be in your marking criteria for a bibliography.
