I need help with the following

from core 1 -

• major health promotion initiatives
− government responses (major reports)
− community responses (state and local
level health promotion initiatives).

• analyse practical examples of the
new public health model by
examining:
− Ottawa Charter for Health
Promotion (1986)
− Jakarta Declaration on Health
Promotion (1997)
− Australia’s Health (1998)
− community initiatives.
yes i have made notes on them, but i just want to know exactly what we need to know about them?? like for jakarta decleration should we just know the five areas and some examples or what??

from core 2 -

• immediate physiological response to
training
− heart rate
− ventilation rate
− stroke volume
− cardiac output
− lactate levels

• physiological adaptations in response to
aerobic training
− resting heart rate
− stroke volume and cardiac output
− oxygen uptake
− lung capacity
− haemoglobin level
− blood pressure.
what do we have to know about these?? my notes basically just say what happens during training and the difference between an unfit and and a fit person.. but im not really sure on the type of questions they could ask relating to these dot points??

thanks in advance to anyone who can help with either core :)

core 1, good luck 2 u there.
But for d core 2 section all you need to know is what happens when you perform physcial activity. HR increases, stroke volume etc, its inda book.
for the next section its important 2 know what happens once you become fit that is,
resting heart rate declines......heart is more efficient in pumping blood
stroke volume increases...heart more efficient, etc
just know the adaptations & reasons for these

its all pretty basic stuff

with core 1 all you need to know is the points of the ottawa charter and how it relates to each priority area e.g. Skin cancer and developing personal skills how to check for changes in moles ect.

I doubt they will give a long questions on the Jakarta declaration so all you really need to know is how it supports the points of the ottawa charter and what changes it has made to health promotion
