the straight comprehension part (the first 10 marks) seriously took me 3 minutes, it was sooo easy, and u basically only had to look at one source, that was a TABLE! and the other one was straight forward 2. yipeee!

I went over trenches and stuff sooo much and it was on like Wilsons 14 points and peace and the Big Three powers and damaged caused etc etc. Fairly straightfoward and easy

i thought WWI was simple
i didn't study for it except for the peace conference stuff
so i was stoked that i guessed right
our techers said that because they are cutting it out of the syllabus
that they will ask a question on it either this year or next year
i didn;'t study heavily for it just briefy

The ease of WWI was balanced with the foulness of the Russia questions :p

I think the last short answer in Seciton 1 for World War I was a trick question. Cause it first said use both soruces and further reading the question, it said use Source A to do........(cant rmember the rest)

WWI was dead easy!
Guessed it would be peace conferences (but didn't actually get around to even looking over WWI)!
Anyone else think they may have misread the question about which of the Allies had the highest casualties or whatever.... *looks slightly frazzled

Canberra! And Yes I am doing the HSC
so are you complaning about the rather simple source A?

but yeah, how straightforwad were the questions like who had the most casualties. really really easy.

I do agree that that source D was interesting, but it was still good. Plus I got to bring my sexist side out and rip both men and women from WWI

just guesed and said that french guy (whateva his fukn name was) and Lloyd George were cut-throat in their approach, whereas wilson was m ore diplomatic, so as not to be greedy

and my answer to reliability of sources C&D was a crock of u know what

mine was so short, im gonna go fukcen sh1t i knows it!!!

The prob with having such easy questions is that everyone is going to get 10 marks there...kind of a pointless excercise. I went into a second answer booklet for both the ww1 essays though, I was so happy they asked about the Big 3! That was one of the few things I remembered from the trials, way back when I actually studied ww1. Did anyone else do 2 booklets?

I thought the last source was a bit out of left field...not hard, but just a bit unexpected. i didn't know what to make of it at first. What did everyone write about it?

WWI is always easy, provided you have a general knowledge of WWI, can read and posses a degree of common sense there is no reason not to own it.
