Public transport is easier, and cheaper.
This year i'm living with a very meager budget...
Public transport - $0 (i sold my soul and got a part time job with the railways for free public transport)
Food - Make my own lunches, but usually i pillage the fridge full of family groceries for ingredients.
So all up might spend up to $5 a week? (snacks, gum, stuff like that etc.)
Now i think about it, transport to and from uni really does add up. Usually, i'd be paying up to $24-25 a week on transport...but if i did some extra walking, i used to get it down to $20.
