anyways- why ru aiming for a uai of 98- isn't BE/BSci wif aeronautical engineering- just needs a uai of 92?
ahh yes- then ur target course should b BE (aeronautical/space) coz i remember how u can't do a combined BE/BSci when u have aeronautical space as ya stream...Originally posted by Calculon

And I want to aim for my full potential, as well as get band 6's in a few subjects so that I can get into TSP if I so wish, and also if I EAS to get into BE(aeronautical/space) so I wanna get as close as possible so I have a good chance at getting a place.
yeah, i think so...take a look at this website and look at the astrix next to the space degrees:Originally posted by Calculon
Are you sure?
Yeah I've seen that, I just emailed them to find out for sureOriginally posted by freaking_out

well i did think abt. doing that but the space aero. engineering is a double degree in and of itself- so u will b learning the aero. stuff plus the space and electronics stuff....therefore u simply don't have elective spaces (where u normally slot ya science subjects in).Originally posted by Calculon

lol- but then again u'll have a "triple degree".Originally posted by Calculon
/me sees 6 years and runs away back to 5
But university is suppose to be the best years of your life (at least according to most people Ive talked to), when you reach 40 things might seem alittle weird but 6 yrs is nothing especially if you want to fill in that little Dr. boxOriginally posted by Calculon

LoL there u go- if u wanted to do a major in chemistry- then that would require around 6 years.Originally posted by Calculon
Official answer from usyd:
Yes it is but there are restrictions on the sort of Scince majors that
will fit into a normal 5 year program. If you enroll in BE(Aero(Space))
and BSc(Physics) or BSc(maths) there is no problem.
