My wife studied her Bachelor of Psychology at QUT. She needed it to get into her Master of Audiological Studies degree at UQ to be an Audiologist. They basically deal with deaf people, fitting hearing aids, testing hearing, cochlear implants and so on and so forth. She is now a research audiologist at (inarguably) the number one research facility in the world right here in Sydney. So that's an option for people with a Psych degree.
