You know how in english advanced its a course requirement to have studied 5 prescribed texts from:
  • Shakespearean drama
  • Prose fiction
  • Drama or film
  • Poetry
  • Nonfiction/media
Has anyone actually done this??

I don't quite follow. Do you mean it's a course requirement to study at least one out of each category, or what? Because we have studied approximately... 16 prescribed texts, discounting the Journeys stimulus booklet and counting 5 Wordsworth poems as one text.

If so:
Antony and Cleopatra
An Imaginary Life
Not sure for drama: unless Cosi counts
Wordsworth poetry
nonfiction = speeches.

Skrzynecki poetry

Blade Runner: Director's Cut - film

I have a little suspicion they can find out, because our school has been using that same text combination for a while, and we havent got a single band six mark in about 3 years, and we are a top 15 school. WTF.

Maybe there are only certain combinations that are possible or something...DAMN. It's too late to do anything. ARGH!

Shakespeare - Antony & Cleopatra
Prose - Emma
Film - Clueless
Poetry - Gwen Harwood
Nonfiction - My Place (AoS Prescribed Text)

Boo hiss. It's a very feminine combination. *twitches*
