Where were you around 10:40am? Because I think I ran into you without knowing until I read your post just now. I think I asked you for directions to the Matthews building (finance lecture).

You cannot miss him! Although now I do feel sorry for the students who felt "harrassed" by the Engineering faculty. We can't help being big.

Lol, don't bother heading to the lectures, it gives you a really really bad impression of what our Uni is really like. Since some guest speakers have a monotone voice.

Man if they had Professor Archer for every welcoming lecture, that'd be great!

I have no idea what's going on in this thread. However, they used Archer in that sciencey welcoming day at O-Week, that was cool. And that other guy making fun of USyd, that was also relatively cool.

Ah sorry for that, I was referring to those other lectures that run sometimes on Courses & Careers day, not sure but I think last year when I went to this event, they invited people to go to some sample lectures...

Haha the making fun of USyd - "all those scattered buildings on the other side of Sydney" was by Prof Archer I think, lmao wonder whether he was referring to USyd or UTS, maybe both

well i've gotta say it was pretty bad management at this C+C Day - the lectuers weren't very competent and especially since they didn't turn up to the scholarships or architecture talks. that's really really poor.
