Devin Townsend (Vocal God, Strapping young Lad) - Vocals
Randy Rhoads (Quiet Riot, Ozzy) - Lead Guitar
Gus Pepa (Death Angel, Organization) - Guitarist (shredder/thrash)
Chris Richards (suffocation) - Bassist
Mike Portney (Dream Theatre) - Drums

I know it's very mixed up between metal & death, but that's my perfect band (possibly without Rhoads).

btw, why so many Cliff fans? Newsted was a better technical bassist than Burton, or is it an "influential" attribute aswell?
nice combination you have there, i have forgotten about Randy Rhoads, he's an real inspiration to countless guitarists.

also another bassist deserves a mention, Billy Sheenan from David Lee Roth's solo band also formed Mr. Big

I only chose Chris Richards as my bassist because I thought he'd fit in with the rest of the band, he's in no way the best, but still awesome.

Other possible bassists would include;

- Geezer Butler (Sabbath)
- Greg Christian (Testament)
- John Entwistle (The Who)
- Geddy Lee (Rush, Solo)
- Les Claypool (Primus)

Not mentioning another dozen death metal bassists (whom no-one would know anyway), but these in my opinion, are the greats.. Namely Geddy Lee, Bass god.

Note: I hate Claypool & Primus, but I can't deny he has talent.
